Security Officer

West Coast Security Concepts is looking to fill the position of Security Officer.  We are looking for people that are excited to work every day, and can think outside of the box.  Do you want to work for an employer who cares about their employee’s?  We are a locally owned and operated business that treats everyone as if they are part of the family.  You will be required to take, and pass a minimum standards test prior to being interviewed by an oral board style panel of company officials.  A full background investigation will be conducted including contact with former employers, criminal, personal and professional references. 

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age for unarmed Officer
  • 21 years of age for armed
    • Current CPL
    • Able to Pass Fire Arms Certification Course
  • Clean driving abstract
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to pass a Washington State and Federal background investigation
  • Be able to lift 70 pounds
  • Have means of contact (i.e. Mobile or Home Phone)
  • Computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office)

 Abilities:

West Coast Security Concepts is always looking for fresh new talent that is able to be sensitive to the client’s needs, your co-worker needs, and the community as a whole.  As a Security Officer with West Coast Security Concepts you may be required to drive a company vehicle for several hours, walk a foot patrol, or have a stationary post.  Other requirements may include answering a multiline phone, escort individuals to their vehicles or other specified locations per contract, make contact with visitors, monitor and authorize entrance and exit to client locations, answer and respond to alarms, parking enforcement, and issue other violations as necessary. 

Training:

West Coast Security Concepts has an extensive training program that does not stop after initial hiring.  We go above and beyond in our training program that continues on the job as well.  Some of our training consists of the following:

  • FEMA Emergency Management
  • Use of Force
  • Pepper Spray Certification
  • Fire Arms Certification
  • Report Writing
  • Verbal Judo
  • First Aid, CPR, & AED


Sales and Marketing:

West Coast Security Concepts is looking to fill the position of Sales and Marketing.  We are looking for people that are excited to work every day, and can think outside of the box.  Do you want to work for an employer who cares about their employee’s?  We are a locally owned and operated business that treats everyone as if they are part of the family.  You will be required to take, and pass a minimum standards test prior to being interviewed by an oral board style panel of company officials.  A full background investigation will be conducted including contact with former employers, criminal, personal and professional references. 

  • 21 years of age

  • Clean driving abstract
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5 to 7 years of previous Sales and Marketing experience of the Security Officer Industry
  • Compensation is success based (base+)

We are seeking a motivated individual who has a proven track record developing sales in the security industry.  Individual must have excellent communication skills, oral and written.  Oversees new business development and develops strategies to meet profitability goals.  Initiates contact with potential new customers, designs client solutions specific to identified needs, goals, and objectives. Prepares and presents proposals.  Meets regularly with client representatives and utilizes client’s feedback to ensure quality and customer satisfaction standards are met.
